Session 1 | e-Freight Exchange: Sharing Lessons, Shaping Actions

WRI India, under NITI Aayog’s e-FAST India initiative, launched the e-Freight Exchange, a knowledge-sharing series that distils real-world experience from India’s electric freight deployments.
Designed for shippers, logistics service providers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Charge Point Operators (CPOs), financiers, and policymakers, the series features experts from the field translating on-ground experience into clear, actionable insights.
Each session explores:
🔹 A walkthrough of a real electric truck deployment, shared directly by the practitioners involved.
🔹 Clear insights on routes, operating patterns, charging uptime, and cost implications.
🔹 Partnership and operating models proven to work in Indian conditions.
This session features Megha Rajpal, Head of Strategy & Growth and Charging Infrastructure at MoEVing, who shared practitioner-led insights from a real-world electric freight deployment. Drawing on field experience, the discussion explored what it takes to plan, operate, and scale electric freight solutions in Indian logistics conditions.
