PACT
India's first coordinated platform for electric freight projectization
Accelerating Medium & Heavy-duty truck (MHDT) deployment through corridor-based projectization- a coordinated platform for shippers, logistics service providers (LSPs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Charge Point Operators (CPOs), financiers, and government agencies.

A Coordinated Platform for Electric MHDTs
India's freight sector is entering a new phase of electrification. While interest in electric medium- and heavy-duty trucks (e-MHDTs) is growing, large-scale deployment requires coordinated action across freight demand, charging infrastructure, financing, and logistics operations.
PACT (Platform for Aggregating Clean Transport) is a NITI Aayog initiative under the e-FAST India platform that facilitates the aggregation of freight demand from shippers and LSPs across freight corridors. By bringing together ecosystem stakeholders, PACT seeks to strengthen coordination and accelerate the scale-up of zero-emission freight deployment.
- Shippers
- Logistics Service Providers
- Vehicle Manufacturers (OEMs)
- Charging Infrastructure Operators
- Financiers
- Government Agencies
Join PACT to contribute to a coordinated platform for aggregating freight demand and advancing zero-emission freight deployment in India.
For Shippers
- Aggregate freight demand with other organizations across relevant corridors
- Reduce Scope 3 emissions
- Participate without owning electric trucks
- Access coordinated charging infrastructure
- Become an early participant in India's electric freight transition
For Logistics Service Providers
Logistics Providers
- Access aggregated freight demand across relevant corridors
- Engage with shippers, OEMs, CPOs and other ecosystem stakeholders
- Explore corridor-based partnerships and deployment opportunities
- Identify opportunities for larger-scale electric freight deployment
For Other Stakeholders
OEMs, Charge Point Operators, Financiers and Technology Providers can also participate to support corridor-level project development.
Vehicle manufacturers and equipment partners
Charging infrastructure deployment
Investment and lending institutions
Digital and operational technology
From Registration to Partnership
01 Register on PACT
Stakeholders register by selecting their category and providing information on freight requirements and deployment readiness.
02 Demand Aggregation
Freight demand from multiple organizations operating on the same or similar freight corridors is consolidated into a single, commercially credible demand signal.
03 Facilitate Partnership
PACT facilitates engagement among shippers, LSPs, OEMs, CPOs, financiers and other stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities for corridor-based electric freight deployment.
