Shipper Roundtable with Smart Freight Centre and WRI India

'Leader’s dialogue- a roundtable discussion for shippers', is organized under the e-FAST India platform, with support from Smart Freight Centre (SFC) and WRI India. 

The roundtable discussion aims to deliberate on the role of manufacturing companies in the successful implementation of scalable pilots with electric trucks, demand aggregation for electric trucks procurement, and supply-side action for increasing the uptake of freight electrification in India. The session would also aim to initiate discussions for the identification of innovative financing mechanisms to drive this transition as well as data platform studies for baseline mapping of freight emissions and implementation of fuel emission regulation and standards, and more. The detailed agenda for this roundtable discussion is attached herewith. 

This discussion shall be an opportunity for manufacturing companies who wish to explore pilots with electric trucks to engage with leaders from the government and industry and participate in breakout sessions to deepen their knowledge and insights.
