E-Truck Business Feasibility Strategies

In the journey towards decarbonizing transportation, the electrification of trucks has emerged as an indispensable and pivotal step. One critical aspect in this transition is the development of a compelling business case to make the switch from regular trucks to zero emission ones.
WRI India, supported by IIM Bangalore and UC Davis, have worked on strategies and business use cases for assessing the unit economics of transitioning from regular trucks to electric ones at a route level. These learnings can be utilized by various players in the freight landscape to identify the routes most viable for operating an electric fleet.
